Establishing a highly attractive prepaid rate of 8.5 cent per minute and messaging services in the constantly changing mobile communications market. The communication was exclusively via online channels and focused on the new product launch and increased awareness of the Solomo brand. The goal was to increase click rates on the home page and to generate additional online sales.
The target campaign was designed for a young audience based on the product features such as prepaid and the especially low priced messaging offer. The audience includes primarily schoolchildren, apprentices and students who cannot afford or do not want a mobile phone contract. The communication of the message “cheapest prepaid rate in Germany“ was intentionally avoided as this can already be passé the next day in the dynamic mobile market.
The new slogan ”Bei uns ist alles 08/5 CENT!” makes use of a well known phrase and is at the same time a pun which is easy to retain. But the testimonials which are deployed in online communication contradicted the feature 08/15 (standard), which generally captured attention.
Deployed measures:Online banner campaigns, Google Adwords campaigns (related to placement and keyword) including daily monitoring, modifications and portal entries.
