Dortmund Airport has developed over the last few years to become the third largest airport in NRW with excellent growth rates. The British low cost carrier easyJet has been an important airline partner for Dortmund Airport since 2004 and currently serves 11 destinations.

Challenge

A creative mail campaign should be designed to address the important target audience of business travellers. The mail campaign provides information about the latest easyJet destinations and numerous benefits for business customers at Dortmund Airport. The recipients were visited personally beforehand to get exact information about their ideas on optimal offers for business customers.


Strategy

In order to achieve an intensive dialogue with the recipients, the mail campaign was created around the theme which interests all business travellers: lowering travel expenses!


Implementation

Post from the Inland Revenue may shock at the first moment. Standpunkt Kommunikation has consciously taken that into account and created an innovative mail campaign in the style of typical file.

The over-size file creates the framework for the communication of the cheapest easyJet flights from Dortmund, which help to significantly reduce travel expenses – the most important argument for low-cost flights from Dortmund!

The elaborate mail campaign also receives a discount code, which is stuck to the inside as label. A special stamp serves as seal.
