The Company

The family run company Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG has been offering for several generations a diverse range of frozen and fresh foods, focusing on constant development and also addressing individual customer needs. Quality is always guaranteed at the highest level of enjoyment.


Challenge

The brand awareness of the various Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG products should be supported by below the line measures, which tangibly communicate the quick and simple preparation and excellent taste to the consumer.

Furthermore the innovations and trends in the dynamic frozen food market should be communicated to the target audience and sales should be driven.


Strategy

Promoters are deployed together with specially trained promotion staff, aligned to the products as sales supporting measure to generate new customer contacts.

Handouts and incentives were also provided for the support of the staff and given out to potential customers, e.g. if they buy two or more products.


Implementation

In various projects on average 45 promoters are deployed across the country in national tasting and sales promotions, with an average of around 1,000 deployment days for active customer address, advice and sales in the LEH and SBW outlets.

The end users are additionally addressed via the recipe brochures and product leaflets which are handed out.
