The traditional Concordia insurance group offers a wide range of insurances for private and commercial customers. The Concordia insurance group consists of Concordia Versicherungs-Gesellschaft auf Gegenseitigkeit, which was founded in 1864, Concordia Holding AG, Concordia Lebensversicherungs-AG, oeco capital Lebensversicherungs-AG, Concordia Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG, Concordia Krankenversicherungs-AG, Cordial Versicherungs-Dienstleistungen GmbH, Concordia Service GmbH and Cordial Grundstücks-GmbH.
Due to the increasingly large number of information sources it was decided in 2002 to transform the internal communication to a modern and efficient Intranet system.
The central focus of the cooperation is the development of an Intranet at Concordia, which is tailored to the needs of employees, enabling simplified workflows and the sustained improvement of internal communication.
The goal was, in addition to creating an easily accessible information platform for all employees, to support and simplify internal processes and to help staff identify better with the company.
On the basis of these guidelines Standpunkt Interaktiv firstly developed a comprehensive online concept for the realignment of employee communication on the basis of the content management platform CONTENS. An individual and flexible solution was created for which the publishing and editorial support could be taken over by employees. Following the successful introduction in 2003 the Concordia Internet offering was also redesigned on the basis of CONTENS.
